- Oversee Repairs and Preventive Maintenance: Conduct property inspections, troubleshoot building issues, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate repairs to keep buildings, equipment, and systems safe and functional.
- Manage Vendors and Property Projects: Coordinate outside contractors, gather bids and estimates, and support larger repairs, renovations, and construction projects in collaboration with internal teams.
- Maintain Property Standards and Safety: Oversee property upkeep, inventory, tools, and equipment while ensuring maintenance activities follow company procedures, applicable safety requirements, and relevant building codes. Assist with seasonal needs, including snow removal.
- Improve Maintenance Processes: Help develop preventive maintenance plans, standard operating procedures, and consistent practices across locations while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and protect property assets.
- Communicate and Coordinate Across Teams: Provide project updates, collaborate with leadership and internal departments, maintain positive relationships with vendors and other stakeholders, and participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance needs.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 3 years of experience in building maintenance, construction, facilities maintenance, or a related trade.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of general building repairs, maintenance practices, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to coordinate maintenance schedules, prioritize competing requests, and oversee multiple projects.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to coordinate with vendors and internal teams.
- A safety-conscious approach to maintenance work and property upkeep.
- Basic computer skills, including email, spreadsheets, and maintenance tracking tools.
- A valid driver's license and eligibility under company vehicle insurance requirements.
- Availability to participate in an on-call rotation outside regular working hours.

- Variety in your work: Support different properties, building needs, repairs, and improvement projects.
- Hands-on impact: See the results of your work in the safety, functionality, and condition of the buildings you maintain.
- Opportunity to improve operations: Help strengthen maintenance processes, preventive maintenance, and team performance.
- Collaborative environment: Work with maintenance, human services, construction, and other internal teams to keep operations running smoothly.
