Maintenance Supervisor

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead and manage our facilities maintenance team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems across our facilities. Duties

• Lead and supervise the facilities maintenance team, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and maintenance protocols
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical systems, electrical circuits (including high voltage), HVAC units, plumbing systems, and industrial machinery using schematics, multimeters (voltmeters, ohmmeters), and other diagnostic tools
• Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs, coordinating resources and timelines effectively
• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and conduct regular safety training sessions for team members
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and safety incidents in accordance with company policies
• Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting issues related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation systems

Experience

• Proven supervisory experience managing facilities maintenance teams in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Extensive mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in mechanical systems repair and industrial maintenance procedures
• Strong electrical experience including working with low voltage and high voltage systems; familiarity with electrical schematics is essential
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously using project management principles
• Proficiency in using CMMS software for work order management and record keeping
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to workplace safety and equipment operation
• Skilled in reading schematics, troubleshooting engineering problems, and performing HVAC system repairs
• Experience with plumbing system maintenance and repair is highly desirable
• Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices confidently
• Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams, manage facilities effectively, and ensure safety compliance
