Job Description:

NOW HIRING: Maintenance Technician

Compensation: $22.70-$23.70 per hour

This role will require the candidate to drive and must pass Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) requirements.

Job Overview

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for safely performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment in one or more fields (carpentry, paint, electrical, janitorial equipment, HVAC, vehicle/golf cart etc.).

Roles & Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  Other duties may be assigned.

• Self-Starter with Leadership and problem-solving skills
• Perform routine and predictive maintenance
• Perform general cleaning and maintains clean work area
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment, electrical & mechanical issues and then repair
• Strong customer service skills
• Comfortable communicating complex issues with superior, co-workers and customers in a professional manner
• Proven ability to work safely in industrial environments
• Familiar with and utilize proper Lock Out/ Tag Out safety procedures
• Perform preventative equipment maintenance and repairs on all floor equipment, scrubbers, chariot vacuums, extractors, etc.
• Respond positively to requests in a timely manner
• Ability to use hand and power tools, use of scissor lifts, ladders and scaffolding. Soldering and welding a plus
• The ability to drive to various work locations, customer sites, or company facilities may be necessary to perform the essential functions of this position.
• Maintain maintenance logs and schedules

Qualification

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/ or Experience: Six months minimum experience in a company environment or equivalent experience and or training such as basic plumbing, painting, HVAC or construction.  Two years Electrical Experience minimum.  High School diploma or GED or equivalent combination of training and experience preferred.  Must complete all safety, environmental and task training and or certifications.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:  A valid driver's license may be required for this position based on business needs. Employees required to drive as part of their job duties must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and meet company driving eligibility requirements. Forklift and electric pallet jack certification may be required.
