Maintenance Tech I

Overview Performs routine repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure building systems operate efficiently. Knowledge of carpentry, painting, drywall and texturing, hazardous chemicals and general and preventive maintenance a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for all maintenance and repair of the facility.
• Repair of plumbing and associated equipment i.e. toilet replacement, snake stopped drains, repair leaks in piping, faucets and drains.
• Assisting all trades: painters, engineers, electricians, welders, and carpenters.
• Cleaning of shops, trash, sweeping, picking materials up from job sites, etc.
• Ability to work efficiently, independently and cohesively, consistently producing quality results
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Related degree preferred or accredited certifications
• Minimum 2 years' experience
• Effective communication skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
