Maintenance Tech/Custodian

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Maintenance Tech/Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform a variety of tasks efficiently.

Common Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
• Empty trash cans and dispose of waste properly
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
• Snow removal
• Grass mowing
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including hallways and lobbies
• Perform buffing and floor maintenance as needed
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as assigned
• Follow all safety protocols and use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment

Requirements

• Building and grounds maintenance experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of the following trades: electrical, plumbing, mechanical (including controls), carpentry, HVAC, refrigeration, and general building trades (roofs, doors, concrete, etc.) preferred
• Good organizational skills, self-motivated and able to prioritize job responsibilities
• Must possess problem solving abilities
• Basic computer skills are required
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
• Must be able to provide required clearances prior to starting employment.
• Must be able to read blueprints
• Ability and desire to lead

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
