Maintenance Technician

Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems using schematics and technical manuals.
• Install, service, and maintain various appliances including refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and air conditioning systems.
• Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, parts, or equipment as needed for maintenance tasks.
• Conduct detailed diagnostics on HVAC/R systems to identify issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used; ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to lead or assist in complex repairs and system upgrades to improve operational efficiency.

Skills

• Extensive mechanical knowledge with experience in mechanical systems repair and appliance installation.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting complex systems.
• Strong background in HVAC system repair, refrigeration technology, air conditioning maintenance, and HVAC/R systems.
• Skilled in appliance repair across various types including kitchen equipment and refrigeration units.
• Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients about maintenance issues.
• Experience working with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) procedures in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to operate company vehicles safely while adhering to all safety protocols.
• Leadership qualities with the capability to guide junior technicians or coordinate team efforts during large projects.
