Job Summary

The City of Mission is seeking team-oriented individuals to join our Parks + Recreation team at Powell Community Center. You will join a great team while performing semi-skilled work in the care and maintaining of the City buildings and grounds.

Responsibilities

• The ideal candidate will have experience in daily maintenance of buildings and grounds as well as handling repairs such as painting, patching sheetrock, wallpaper, electrical and plumbing work.
• This position also assists in management of the Brightly maintenance work ticket system.
• Lastly, this job will also be expected to perform custodial work including cleaning of buildings and grounds and set-up and take-down of equipment for facility rentals and special events as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years performing general building and facility maintenance, including routine repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with a computerized work order/ticketing system, with the ability to prioritize, track, and document work requests from initiation through completion, and coordinating with outside contractors when specialized work is required.
