Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day maintenance and facilities operations of our hotel. This position will serve as a key support role within the Maintenance Department, working under the direction of the Maintenance leadership team to help ensure the property remains safe, comfortable, and in good working condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance leadership team with the daily operation of the Maintenance Department.
• Complete assigned maintenance and repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance in guest rooms, public areas, and other property spaces.
• Conduct routine property walks to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and equipment issues.
• Assist with the maintenance and operation of hotel equipment and systems, including HVAC, life safety systems, kitchen equipment, and other hotel systems.
• Maintain proper inventory of maintenance supplies and notify leadership when supplies need to be replenished.
• Follow company and brand SOPs, safety procedures, and applicable ADA requirements.
• Work closely with the hotel team to respond to guest maintenance requests and help ensure guest satisfaction.
• Support maintenance projects and other assignments as requested by management.
• Document completed maintenance and preventative maintenance activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of maintenance or facilities maintenance experience; preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, life safety systems, kitchen equipment, and other hotel-related equipment preferred.
• Basic troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Ability to work independently while following direction from Maintenance leadership.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage as needed.
• Must be able to reliably commute to Denver, CO 80216, or be willing to relocate before starting employment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to use small repair tools and perform tasks requiring hand and finger dexterity.
• Ability to push, pull, kneel, crawl, climb, bend, and reach as required to perform maintenance duties.

Schedule

• Full-time
• 8- or 10-hour shifts
• Day shift
• Weekends and holidays as needed
• On-call availability as needed

Position Summary:
This is a hands-on support position within the Maintenance Department. The Maintenance Technician will work closely with the Maintenance leadership team and other hotel departments to complete daily repairs, preventative maintenance, and assigned projects while helping maintain a safe and well-functioning property.eep our facilities running smoothly!

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
