Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Abbeville, SC. In this vital role, you will be responsible for day-to-day maintenance of the property, including, but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, structural, and HVAC repairs. Your expertise will help create a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs on the property. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and technical skills in a fast-paced setting, directly contributing to the success of our company.

HVAC experience is preferred.

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of the property and its systems and appliances to identify potential issues.
• Perform plumbing, electrical, structural, and HVAC repairs and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot issues and effectively execute repairs.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for compliance and future reference.
• Collaborate with team members.

Preferred Skills

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and HVAC issues.
• Proficiency in reading technical diagrams and electrical wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge and experience working on HVAC systems is highly preferred.
• Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform equipment repair and maintenance tasks efficiently.
• Experience working in construction or building maintenance environments is highly desirable.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
