Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a reliable full-time general maintenance technician for day shift in a fast paced growing company. Offering top pay with a generous benefit package. Good attitude & ability to take direction and work independently is essential. Prior experience in janitorial/light maintenance is required.

Our equipment includes the latest technology in 5 axis Mill/Turn, 3 & 4 axis CNC Milling, CNC Turning, and Wire EDM. Ramco has been in business for over 42 years servicing diverse industries including semiconductor, medical, robotics and countless other commercial high-tech markets.

Responsibilities / Skills

• Self-starter, good with hands and able to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and follow-through while maintaining a safe, clean and organized workspace.
• Ability to safely lift 50lbs.
• Preventive maintenance of CNC equipment, including maintaining oil/lubricants, filter replacements, etc to machinery specifications.
• Knowledge of basic repair of CNC machines is a plus but not required.
• Daily monitoring and filling of water soluble cutting fluids in several CNC machines.
• Manage non-hazardous waste oil storage and coordinate with third party for removal.
• Create and maintain a PM schedule for all equipment, that limits machinery downtime.
• General janitorial tasks including sweeping, cleaning lunch room, and disinfecting high touch areas through entire facility.
• Operate and maintain floor cleaning machines in shop area and offices.
• Manage scrap metal and recycling efforts.
• Light building and facilities maintenance, including use of a scissor lift.
• Snow removal on walkways and egress points (snowblower and shovel).
• Must be able to interact and communicate with coworkers at all levels of the organization.
