Job Description:

The chosen candidate for this position will be a key team member within our Maintenance and Facilities Management Division, servicing all assigned properties spread across the St. Louis region. The ideal candidate would have strong knowledge of common and complex building trades and facility maintenance practices as well as competency in standard schedule and expense record management. Preference will be given to those who possess the most relevant experience in the HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing Trades.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to perform basic maintenance and repairs of commercial HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing systems as well as all other routine and nonroutine maintenance services as assigned by supervisor
• Keeps detailed records of all work performed at each service call / assigned task.
• Contributes to maintaining detailed inventory of all maintenance tools and supply stock.
• Maintains high standards for the presentation and representation of Upsite FS at all times
• Evaluates buildings and grounds regularly for routine and non-routine maintenance.
• Researches and maintains an up-to-date knowledge base of “Best Practices” within the Facilities Maintenance Industry. Implements new procedures and practices as needed.
• Ability to occasionally respond to after hour emergency service requests.

Qualifications:

• 8 years of demonstrated facilities maintenance and or skilled trade service experience preferred.
• 2 years of professional education, either in a skilled trade or facilities maintenance program preferred.
• Strong to expert level of knowledge across multiple high skill trade industries with an emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.
• Clean driver’s license

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

Requires pushing/lifting up to 60lbs. Positions in this class typically include grasping, standing, walking and repetitive motions, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, climbing and balancing, plus pushing, pulling and lifting. Position requires performance in many adverse weather conditions including extreme heat, cold and precipitation.

Pay: $28.00 - $42.00 per hour
