Maintenance Technician

Summary:

Set up equipment and make all standard adjustments to start up. Run product in efficient productive manner. Responsible for quality and quantity of production, inspection of product, packaging and housekeeping around equipment. Prepare daily production report.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure appearance, color and clarity of products.
• Checks dimensions for accuracy (including width, gauge and length).
• Positions and secures labels on products. Checks labels for accuracy.
• Able to verify quality of product by camber and air checks.
• Moves controls to position tool and workpiece in relation to each other, and to set specified feeds, speeds, and depth of cut.
• Observes operation of machine and verifies conformance of machined workpiece to specifications.
• Provide accurate daily production reports.

Qualification Requirements:

• LANGUAGE SKILLS: Basic reading and writing skills.

• MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide as well as use measurement tools to check for width, length and gauge.

• REASONING ABILITY: Must understand and follow all safety regulations.

• PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• • Able to lift 30 lbs. - 100 lbs.
  • Up to 200 lbs. lateral pull on winder shaft.
  • Crane lifts of 80 lbs. and above
