Maintenance Technician

Position Overview:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections to ensure that our properties are well-maintained and meet the highest standards. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical skill set, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities:

• Routine Maintenance:
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to HVAC system checks, plumbing repairs, and electrical system inspections.
• Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address maintenance issues.
• Repairs and Troubleshooting:
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants and property managers.
• Diagnose and repair issues related to appliances, fixtures, and other property components.
• Emergency Response:
• Be available for on-call duties to address emergency maintenance issues outside of regular business hours.
• Implement timely and effective solutions to minimize property damage.
• Groundskeeping:
• Maintain the exterior of properties, including landscaping, lawn care, and snow removal as needed.
• Ensure a clean and well-kept appearance of the property grounds.
• Vendor Coordination:
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services.
• Obtain quotes for repairs and services as needed.
• Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inspections.
• Provide regular updates to the Maintenance Manager and other relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in maintenance is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in single-family housing.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general property maintenance.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $41,600.00 - $49,920.00 per year
