We are seeking a diligent and skilled Maintenance Associate to join our team. As a Maintenance Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our facilities. Your primary responsibilities will include performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and responding promptly to guest requests related to maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections of the hotel's premises and equipment to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Perform maintenance tasks such as repairing HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical wiring, and appliances.
• Respond to guest requests for maintenance promptly and professionally.
• Ensure all maintenance and repair work is completed in accordance with hotel standards and safety regulations.
• Assist with renovation and refurbishment projects as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with other hotel staff and management to ensure seamless operations.
• Adheres to safety requirements and attends safety training complying with all OSHA, state and federal guidelines

Requirements

• Education or Experience- High school diploma or equivalent; one to two years engineering experience or training; or equivalent combination of related education and experience.
• Language Skills- Must have developed language skills to the point to be able to: ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and technical procedures. Ability to effectively respond to questions from management, customers and clients.
• Mathematical Skills- Requires mathematical development sufficient to be able to: calculate figures, discounts, area, and circumference. Compute ratio, proportion, and percentages. Calculate surface, volumes, weight and measures. Possesses sharp ability for attention to detail (able to quickly identify variances in standards), working efficiently and flexibly. Ability to multi-task and be highly organized while working under pressure.
• Reasoning Ability- Must have developed reasoning skills to be able to: apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to handle problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• · Valid Driver’s License – Must be able to travel to and from work sites and/or pick up materials/supplies to perform work duties. Must have a valid NH driver’s license.

Salary Description

$18.50 - $20.50 an hour
