Night Shift 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Train on Days (Monday–Friday) before transitioning to nights

Solmax is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrical & Mechanical Technician to support our traditional weaving and extrusion manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

· Perform electrical and mechanical repairs on equipment, machinery, and facilities.

· Locate and correct power failures.

· Maintain AC/DC drives and assigned equipment.

· Wire new equipment when required.

· Perform preventive maintenance and maintain repair records.

· Operate welding, soldering, drill presses, grinders, and other shop equipment.

· Respond to emergency repairs as needed.

· Follow company safety policies and housekeeping standards.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

· High School Diploma or GED

· 3–5 years of industrial maintenance or plant electrician experience preferred

· Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems

· Ability to work a 12-hour night shift

Experience:

• Programmable logic controllers: 1 year (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
