Maintenance Technician

Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, air conditioning equipment, and other mechanical systems to ensure optimal operation.
• Diagnose and repair appliances, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and other mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
• Conduct electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to identify issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
• Assist with construction projects or upgrades by providing technical support and ensuring safety standards are met.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and system performance logs.
• Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during complex repairs or installations to ensure timely completion.
• Follow safety protocols rigorously while handling equipment repair, electrical work, or working at heights.

Experience

• Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician working with appliances, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical equipment.
• Strong knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex systems.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC systems—including air conditioning—and refrigeration units is highly desirable.
• Construction experience or familiarity with building maintenance procedures adds value to your application.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising or mentoring team members during maintenance projects.
• Mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose issues efficiently.
• Prior experience in equipment repair and general maintenance roles that showcase your proactive approach to facility upkeep.
