Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, refrigeration units, air conditioning units, and related mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals.
• Conduct appliance repair and installation for kitchen equipment including ovens, dishwashers, refrigerators, and other appliances.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and service manuals to diagnose issues accurately.
• Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, parts, or equipment as needed for maintenance tasks.
• Maintain detailed records of all repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities following operational procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to lead maintenance projects and ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes.

Experience

• Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician in a commercial or industrial environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing mechanical systems such as HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration).
• Familiarity with appliance repair, installation procedures, and kitchen equipment maintenance.
• Experience working with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) supplies and tools.
• Ability to operate construction equipment or tools related to building maintenance is a plus.
• Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Leadership qualities that enable guiding junior team members or leading small projects effectively.

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
