Maintenance Technician

Overview
We are looking for a dependable Maintenance Technician to help keep our hotel running smoothly. This role focuses on basic repairs, guest-room maintenance, and simple troubleshooting — especially with PTAC units. If you’re hands-on, reliable, and comfortable with general building upkeep, this position is a great fit.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic repairs in guest rooms and common areas (doors, locks, toilets, drains, lighting).
• Troubleshoot and maintain PTAC units, including filter cleaning, resets, and swapping units when needed.
• Complete minor drywall patching, painting, and cosmetic touch-ups.
• Respond to guest maintenance requests in a timely, professional manner.
• Assist with pool area checks and simple equipment upkeep (if applicable).
• Conduct routine property walk-throughs to identify maintenance needs.
• Support housekeeping and front desk teams with maintenance-related issues.

Skills & Experience

• General maintenance or handyman experience preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues.
• Comfortable working with PTAC units (training provided if needed).
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and helping keep the hotel in great condition. No HVAC certifications required — position involves basic PTAC troubleshooting only.

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
