As a member of EngineeringTeam**,** the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the area of Responsible for major drawings and product development of automotive seating

Based at Lear Automotive (Thailand) Co Ltd. (Rayong Plant) this full-time position will report to Engineering Manager.

About the role

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for periodic inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and analysis, repair, installation, and relocation of machinery, as well as supporting operations and monitoring machinery issues in the manufacturing process and factory utility systems.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance (PM), predictive maintenance, and breakdown maintenance on machinery
• Inspect machinery and equipment condition regularly to prevent unexpected downtime
• Analyze and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control system problems
• Repair and restore machinery to working condition quickly
• Support installation, adjustment, and production changeover activities
• Maintain and repair industrial sewing machines (JUKI and Dürkopp Adler)
• Analyze and resolve sewing machine issues including thread breakage, needle breakage, skipped stitches, thread tension problems, and quality defects
• Adjust sewing machine settings to meet quality and production efficiency requirements
• Respond quickly to machinery breakdowns to minimize production downtime
• Participate in TPM, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement activities

About you

• Completed vocational certificate (ปวช.) or higher vocational certificate (ปวส.) or at least 2 years of college-level education in electrical technology, mechanical technology, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of machinery and industrial equipment
• Passed training or certification in building electrical work or industrial electrical work level 1
• Good English language ability
• Knowledge of mechanical work, electrical work, facilities, and building maintenance
• Leadership capability
• Responsible for managing and maintaining production machinery in working condition
• Ensure safe machinery operation and conduct continuous improvement and development
