Maintenance Technician

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the optimal operation of our facilities and equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing mechanical and electrical systems, and maintaining a safe and efficient environment. Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools; perform repairs efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair various appliances including kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and other mechanical devices.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used; utilize maintenance management software effectively.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize work orders; assist in training or mentoring new technicians when required.
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance activities to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Experience

• Preferred but not required: Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment maintenance including appliances such as ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, and other commercial appliances.
• Ability to operate construction tools and perform equipment installation or repairs in various environments.
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills; experience with maintenance operations preferred.
• Leadership qualities that enable effective communication with team members; customer service skills are a plus for interacting with clients or end-users.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
