Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair appliances, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals.
• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain various appliances and equipment across multiple facilities with precision and care.
• Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, parts, or equipment as needed for maintenance tasks.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, identify root causes of issues, and execute effective repairs to minimize downtime.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used to ensure compliance and facilitate future troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to prioritize tasks, improve procedures, and uphold safety standards across all operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC system repair, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair.
• Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams accurately for troubleshooting purposes.
• Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience maintaining kitchen equipment, HVAC/R units, air conditioning systems, and related machinery.
• Familiarity with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) practices including equipment repair and preventive maintenance routines.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients about technical issues.
• Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely in various environments.
• Leadership qualities that enable effective teamwork while managing multiple priorities efficiently.
• Knowledge of HVAC & appliance technology trends to stay current on best practices for system upgrades or repairs.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
