Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our property management team and ensure the optimal operation of our facilities and equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance operations in accordance to policies, procedures, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and completing maintenance work orders in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency by optimizing on skill sets, location, routing, and prioritization of work flor as directed by Lead Maintenance Technician.
• Provide assistance to other Maintenance Technicians as needed when extra help is required.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure proper upkeep of building components, equipment, and appliances.
• Perform routine property inspections to look for any required maintenance items, safety hazards, or improvements needed.
• Operate company vehicles responsibly for on-site repairs or equipment deliveries as needed, as well as keep vehicle clean and well maintained.
• Keep all mechanical rooms, sprinkler/alarm rooms, and storage areas cleaned and organized.
• Organize and keep inventory of materials/supplies/parts/tools.
• Collaborate with team members to lead maintenance projects, improve procedures, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed for compliance and reporting purposes.

Requirements

• Basic experience and knowledge in all areas of general property maintenance.
• Available to work full-time (Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM) plus overtime as needed during busy turnover season (July - August)
• Rotational on-call schedule determined by number and availability of other maintenance technicians (1 week at a time)
• Previous property management experience is a plus.
• Must be a team player with a positive and professional attitude.
• Honest work ethic with the ability to work as a team or on your own.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with tenants and maintenance team/office staff alike.
• Leadership qualities that support team collaboration and mentorship are highly valued.
• Valid driver’s license

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
