Maintenance Technician

About the role

Responsible for the maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery and equipment in the factory. Ensure that production equipment operates safely, reliably, and efficiently. Perform preventive maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of factory machinery and equipment.
• Identify and resolve equipment breakdowns and abnormalities in a timely manner.
• Carry out preventive maintenance according to the established maintenance schedule.
• Monitor equipment operating conditions and identify potential problems before they affect production.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Provide timely technical support to the Production team to minimize equipment downtime.
• Record maintenance activities, equipment breakdowns, repairs, and spare parts replacement.
• Assist with the installation, testing, commissioning, and improvement of new machinery and equipment.
• Analyze recurring equipment problems and recommend improvement measures.
• Maintain proper use and control of maintenance tools, spare parts, and equipment.

About you

• Diploma / Vocational Certificate / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in factory machinery maintenance or equipment maintenance.
• Good knowledge of basic mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Able to independently troubleshoot and resolve common machinery problems.
• Able to use basic maintenance and measuring tools, such as a multimeter.
• Able to read basic equipment manuals, electrical diagrams, and technical documents.
• Responsible, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a team.
• Good communication and coordination skills with Production and other related departments.
• Willing to work overtime or shifts when required.
