Maintenance Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day maintenance operations of our 42-unit luxury condominium building. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of high-rise building systems and take pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment for residents. This role is essential in ensuring the proper operation of all mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the building, including drywall, painting, power washing, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and common areas to identify and address maintenance needs.
• Assist with HVAC system maintenance to ensure efficient operation and compliance with safety standards.
• Respond to maintenance requests and complete work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment logs.
• Follow all safety procedures and building protocols while performing duties.
• Coordinate with management and vendors as needed to complete repairs and projects.
• Assist in maintaining the community pool and surrounding area.

Experience

• Previous experience in building maintenance, preferably in a luxury high-rise condominium or residential setting.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and general repairs (especially drywall and painting).
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with residents, management, and vendors.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Florida Public Pool Service Technician certification is a plus.
