Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and repair appliance issues, including HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and kitchen equipment, utilizing schematics and technical manuals.
• Install new appliances and mechanical systems following safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Perform routine inspections of mechanical systems, air conditioning units, and refrigeration to identify potential issues early.
• Operate company vehicles safely for on-site repairs or equipment deliveries as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used to ensure compliance with operational standards.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex problems efficiently while providing excellent customer service to internal clients or external vendors.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, or mechanical systems repair.
• Knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, and troubleshooting procedures for HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and kitchen equipment.
• Hands-on experience with appliance installation, maintenance, and repair across various mechanical systems.
• Ability to operate construction tools and equipment safely; prior construction experience is a plus.
• Mechanical knowledge combined with strong problem-solving skills to diagnose issues quickly and accurately.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles; clean driving record preferred.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
