We are seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and help maintain the safety, appearance, and functionality of our properties. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with strong handyman skills who enjoys solving problems, completing a variety of repair projects, and taking pride in quality workmanship. The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance to ensure our facilities remain safe, clean, and well-maintained for employees, tenants, and visitors.

Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on buildings, grounds, and facility systems.
• Complete general handyman repairs including drywall, painting, carpentry, doors, windows, flooring, trim, and minor concrete repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues such as leaking faucets, clogged drains, running toilets, and fixture replacements.
• Perform minor electrical repairs including replacing switches, outlets, light fixtures, bulbs, and breakers while following safety guidelines.
• Repair and install locks, hardware, shelving, cabinets, and other building fixtures.
• Assemble, install, and repair furniture, equipment, and various property components as needed.
• Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites.
• Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
• Read work orders, maintenance manuals, and basic diagrams to complete repairs accurately.
• Maintain detailed records of completed maintenance work, inspections, and materials used.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair situations.
• Assist with renovations, remodeling projects, and general property improvements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, handyman, building maintenance technician, or in a related maintenance role.
• Strong knowledge of general building maintenance including carpentry, painting, plumbing, drywall, and minor electrical repairs.
• Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues and complete repairs independently.
• Experience using a wide variety of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and preventative maintenance is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and respond efficiently to maintenance requests.
• Ability to safely operate company vehicles and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Construction, remodeling, or property maintenance experience is highly preferred.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: $31.47 - $51.88 per hour
