Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), refrigeration, and kitchen equipment systems. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient environment while supporting the overall functionality of our facilities. Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
• Conduct appliance repairs and installations, including HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and kitchen equipment such as ovens, dishwashers, and commercial appliances.
• Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, parts, or equipment as needed for maintenance tasks across various locations.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and system manuals to diagnose issues accurately.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system inspections in compliance with operational standards.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate repairs efficiently while providing excellent customer service to internal clients or tenants.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair.
• Knowledge of HVAC & appliance technology including air conditioning systems and kitchen equipment maintenance.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex mechanical or electrical issues.
• Experience with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO), construction experience preferred for larger projects or installations.
• Mechanical knowledge covering equipment repair and maintenance across diverse systems.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients alike.
• Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely.
• Leadership qualities that support team collaboration and problem-solving under pressure are highly valued.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
