Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan
• Troubleshoot and repair a wide range of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration issues using schematics and technical manuals
• Conduct repairs on air conditioning units, HVAC/R systems (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and related mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and inspections conducted in compliance with operational procedures
• Perform routine grounds maintenance including cleaning up trash, emptying waste bins, and other property ground task
• Use hand tools and power tools for various repairs and task
• Conduct regular inspections of outdoor areas to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards
• Assist with repairs in apartments such as appliance repair, cosmetic repair, and various maintenance task.
• Displaying excellent customer service when interacting with residents and future residents of our community
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure proper storage of tools and equipment

Qualifications

• Prior experience in apartment maintenance is preferred
• Previous knowledge in customer service
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Familiarity with equipment and maintenance procedures
• Previous knowledge of air conditioning or appliance repairs is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety guidelines
• Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Reliable transportation to job sites; valid driver’s license is a plus
• Background check will be conducted
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
