Maintenance Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the optimal operation of our facilities and equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems. Your expertise will help create a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for staff and customers alike. Responsibilities/Duties

• Perform various hardware repairs on doors, locks, etc.
• Painting, pressure washing, changing air filters, changing light bulbs.
• Report to facilities manager on maintenance issues and resolutions.
• Conduct regular inspection of stores, warehouses and offices for any issues.

Skills/Qualifications

• Dependable transportation with valid driver's license
• Experience using various tools
• Reliable
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Certifications in HVAC, Plumbing and/or Electrical preferred, but not required

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift heavy objects up to 75 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and reach for extended periods of time
• Comfortable work in various temperatures and conditions

This position may require early morning, late evening, weekends and holiday calls based on emergency issues. Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 32.0 per week
