Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances.
• Install, calibrate, and upgrade appliances and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
• Operate company vehicles safely for on-site repairs or equipment deliveries as needed.
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs, service records, and work orders to ensure compliance and traceability.
• Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions or breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with team members on construction or renovation projects involving mechanical or HVAC systems.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience repairing mechanical systems and appliances.
• Proficiency in appliance repair, HVAC system repair (including air conditioning), refrigeration, and kitchen equipment maintenance.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately.
• Experience with HVAC & appliance technology, including HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration).
• Skilled in troubleshooting complex mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Experience with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO), equipment repair, and equipment maintenance practices.
• Construction experience is a plus for handling upgrades or installations involving building infrastructure.
• Ability to operate company vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Leadership qualities for mentoring junior team members or leading small projects is advantageous.

Pay: $29.00 - $30.31 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
