Maintenance Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and a variety of technical skills. Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to programmable logic controllers, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
• Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.
• Interpret schematics to assist in diagnosing problems and implementing solutions.
• Oversee facilities maintenance tasks, including residential painting and general upkeep of the premises.
• Provide excellent customer service while interacting with staff and clients during maintenance activities.
• Supervise junior technicians or maintenance staff as required, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Skills

• Proficient in working with programmable logic controllers and electrical systems.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform repairs on various types of equipment.
• Experience in welding techniques for metal fabrication and repairs.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
• Background in facilities maintenance with a focus on safety standards.
• Previous experience in manufacturing settings is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise others effectively.
• Strong customer service orientation, ensuring positive interactions with all stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
