Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units and ventilation systems.
• Read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to accurately identify issues and execute repairs.
• Operate company vehicles safely for maintenance tasks off-site or within facility grounds.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities for compliance and future reference.
• Support equipment repair and maintenance efforts across various departments while adhering to safety standards.

Skills

• Proven experience in appliance repair, HVAC system repair, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment maintenance.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to repair mechanical systems efficiently.
• Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC & appliance technology.
• Experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) processes in a commercial or industrial environment.
• Skilled in diagnosing issues using electrical testing tools and mechanical troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to operate construction tools and equipment safely; construction experience is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical team members.
• Leadership qualities with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
