Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our facilities. Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
• Conduct appliance repairs and installations, including HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and kitchen equipment.
• Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, parts, or equipment as needed for maintenance tasks.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to troubleshoot complex system problems effectively.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used in compliance with operational standards.
• Assist with construction or renovation projects by providing mechanical expertise and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in repairing mechanical systems and equipment maintenance.
• Proficiency in appliance repair, HVAC & appliance technology, refrigeration systems, and kitchen equipment maintenance.
• Ability to read schematics accurately for troubleshooting electrical or mechanical issues.
• Experience with HVAC system repair including air conditioning units and HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration).
• Customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and support staff during repairs or installations.
• Familiarity with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) practices along with construction experience is a plus.
• Leadership qualities to guide junior team members or assist in training new technicians when required.
