Maintenance Technician

Overview

Responsibilities

• Monitor and close basic maintenance tickets, including but limited to: installing and repairing locks, patching and painting, installing and aligning doors, replacing ceiling tiles, servicing appliances, and other similar tasks
• Perform site visits. Observe and document the state of building structure and systems
• Execute property maintenance guides
• Develop and implement standard work processes
• Basic time tracking, accounting, and some data entry
• Build, maintain, and grow relationships with existing tenants and owners

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred (HVAC, electrical, or plumbing experience strongly valued).
• 5+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in residential properties.
• Experience in a lead or supervisory maintenance role is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of building systems: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Ability to read and follow maintenance procedures, manuals, and safety protocols.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple tasks, and coordinate vendors.
• Comfortable using maintenance software, email, and basic computer programs.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Valid driver’s license (required).

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
