Full Job Description

We are searching for a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician that will engage in repairing and maintaining machinery and equipment.

• Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
• Experienced with large gears, Helical gears, and worm drives.
• Dismantle, assemble, and install industrial machinery.
• Troubleshoot and wire 120V, 220V, and 480V circuits and panels.
• Ability to read and understand electrical prints and blueprints.
• Able to fabricate and complete both MIG and stick welding working with steel up to 1" thick.
• Able to rig and transport equipment up to 20 tons.
• Follow company policies in enforcing safety regulations.

Additional helpful skills for a Maintenance Technician:

• Ability to work independently.
• Self-motivated
• Ability to travel up to 20% of working time.
• Experience in a steel service center is a bonus.

Physical Demands:

• Frequently required to use hands and fingers handle and/or feel.
• Frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling.
• Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds.

Salary: Starts from $28 per hour. Pay contingent upon experience.
