Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment and facility systems. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical skills, experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This position requires excellent attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery, including CNC machines, waterjets, conveyor line polishers, water recycling systems, forklifts, and pneumatic tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain CNC machines, waterjets, conveyor line polishers, water recycling systems, forklifts, pneumatic tools, and other facility equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Align, calibrate, dismantle, install, and reassemble machinery and equipment as needed.
• Read and interpret manuals, blueprints, schematics, and technical repair drawings.
• Identify and immediately address safety hazards and equipment concerns.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly inventoried tools and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and replacement parts.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests, including occasional evenings or weekends.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and service providers for major repairs or specialized work.
• Assist with equipment installation, foundations, rigging, and safe machine placement.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts after completing required training.
• Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
• Strong mechanical and electrical background.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, blueprints, and repair drawings.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs and maintenance documentation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Dependable attendance, punctuality, and a professional attitude.
• Ability to work varying schedules and overtime when necessary.
• Ability to safely lift, climb, bend, kneel, and work around industrial equipment.

• Plasma tables
• Facility infrastructure
• Water recycling systems

Bilingual skills are a plus but are not required.
