Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
• Install new appliances and mechanical systems following manufacturer specifications and safety protocols.
• Conduct repairs on various mechanical components, including air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and kitchen appliances.
• Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, parts, or equipment to different job sites as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
• Collaborate with team members to lead maintenance projects, improve existing processes, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair, HVAC system repair, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment maintenance.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting complex systems.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC & appliance technology and maintenance operations (MRO).
• Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients when addressing maintenance issues.
• Ability to operate construction tools and equipment safely; previous construction experience is a plus.
• Leadership qualities that enable guiding junior technicians or assisting in training new staff.
• Knowledge of HVAC/R systems, air conditioning units, and related mechanical systems repair techniques.
