Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools; execute repairs efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Repair or replace appliances, HVAC components, refrigeration units, and mechanical systems with precision and attention to detail.
• Install new equipment such as kitchen appliances or HVAC systems following manufacturer specifications and safety protocols.
• Operate company vehicles safely for maintenance tasks across multiple sites while adhering to all transportation regulations.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical problems.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance logs.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize work orders and coordinate repairs during scheduled maintenance or emergency situations.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations during all maintenance activities.

Experience

• Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair.
• Demonstrated ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints for troubleshooting purposes.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair—including air conditioning units—and kitchen equipment maintenance is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices within construction or industrial environments.
• Familiarity with appliance installation procedures and equipment repair techniques.
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose issues quickly and accurately.
• Customer service skills that enable clear communication with team members and clients when explaining repairs or providing guidance.
• Ability to operate company vehicles safely while adhering to all transportation policies.
• Leadership qualities that support team collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance processes.
