Maintenance Technician

This position offers the opportunity to apply your technical skills in appliance repair, HVAC system maintenance, refrigeration, and mechanical systems repair.

Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) equipment, and mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals.
• Install new appliances and mechanical components following safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Conduct repairs on air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, kitchen appliances, and other mechanical equipment to minimize downtime.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used to support operational transparency.
• Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in construction or renovation projects when required.
• Complete work orders in a timely matter
• Ensure that apartment make ready is done by the deadline for new move ins
• Make sure that grounds are kept clean
• Help maintain pool cleanliness
• work closely with property manager to ensure that daily tasks are done

Experience

• Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair.
• Experience with HVAC system repair—including air conditioning units—and kitchen equipment maintenance is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) practices along with construction experience is advantageous.
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in equipment installation and repair.
• Customer service skills that enable clear communication with clients or team members regarding repairs or maintenance needs.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week

• Maintenance : 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• HVAC Certification (Preferred)
• EPA 609 Certification (Preferred)
