Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team! Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
• Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor and control automated equipment processes.
• Conduct welding repairs and fabrications as needed to support equipment maintenance or facility improvements.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks.
• Assist with residential painting projects and general facilities maintenance to uphold safety standards and aesthetic quality.
• Supervise or lead small maintenance teams or contractors during specific projects or repairs, ensuring quality work and safety compliance.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing or facilities maintenance environments.
• Proficiency in electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting using tools like ohmmeters.
• Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation control.
• Skilled in welding techniques for repair and fabrication tasks.
• Knowledge of residential painting techniques for facility aesthetic upkeep.
• Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and internal clients.
• Supervising experience demonstrating leadership capabilities in a maintenance setting.
• Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and record keeping.
• Ability to read technical schematics accurately and follow safety protocols diligently.

Pay: $15.15 - $17.00 per hour
