Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on a wide range of equipment, including HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and appliances to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals, diagnosing problems accurately and swiftly.
• Repair or replace faulty components in HVAC/R systems, air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and other machinery as needed.
• Conduct inspections of mechanical systems and electrical panels to identify potential issues before they escalate.
• Assist with construction or renovation projects by providing mechanical expertise and ensuring safety standards are met.
• Lead small maintenance teams or coordinate with contractors during complex repairs or upgrades.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance and future reference.

Experience

• Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician in a commercial or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints accurately.
• Familiarity with construction practices related to building maintenance or upgrades is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide or supervise other technicians when necessary.
• Hands-on experience with equipment repair, preventative maintenance programs, and safety procedures.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
