Maintenance Technician

JOB SUMMARY:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, repair, and maintenance of equipment within and around the facilities. The technician will perform various tasks such as diagnosing issues, conducting repairs, rebuilding components, performing preventative maintenance, and installing new equipment. The primary objective of this role is to minimize production downtime and ensure zero loss of production due to maintenance issues.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Maintain a personal set of hand tools required to safely perform the job, including a toolbox for storage.

· Provide a reliable means of communication during non-working hours for emergencies and respond to emergency calls within thirty (30) minutes.

· Keep the work areas, workbenches, break rooms, and floors clean, ensuring the removal of debris and maintaining a safe environment free of liquids, oils, and dirt.

· Perform assigned tasks efficiently with minimum supervision.

· Adhere to all safety requirements, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), reporting unsafe acts and conditions, following lockout-tagout procedures, and complying with Process Safety Management guidelines.

Pay: $17.95 - $32.00 per hour
