Maintenance Technician (Full-Time, Year-Round) —

Edgartown Yacht Club

Edgartown Yacht Club is looking for a skilled, reliable maintenance professional to take care of our clubhouse, grounds and club-owned property year-round. If you like variety — carpentry one day, landscaping the next, a winter renovation project after that — and take pride in keeping a property in top shape, we'd like to meet you.

What you'll do

• Repair and maintain the clubhouse and other club buildings: carpentry, painting, basic plumbing and electrical, doors, windows and hardware
• Care for the grounds: mowing, planting, pruning, irrigation, seasonal cleanups and snow removal
• Help maintain docks and waterfront areas
• Take on off-season improvement projects from start to finish
• Keep up a preventive maintenance schedule and coordinate outside contractors
• Set up for regattas, events and member functions
• Share on-call duty for storms and after-hours emergencies

What you bring

• 3+ years of building maintenance, construction or facilities experience
• Solid all-around trade skills and landscaping experience
• Valid driver's license
• A self-starter who can plan work and see it through
• A friendly, professional manner with members and staff
• Club, marina, inn or estate experience, marine skills and trade licenses are a plus

Schedule

Full-time, year-round. Longer hours and some weekends in season; steadier project work in the off-season.
