Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair appliances, mechanical equipment, and electrical systems using schematics and technical manuals.
• Conduct equipment repairs and troubleshoot issues related to air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and other mechanical devices.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately identify issues and implement solutions.
• Assist with construction or renovation projects by installing or upgrading mechanical systems as needed.
• Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during maintenance projects to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used to support operational transparency.

Experience

• Proven service technician experience with appliance repair or equipment maintenance in commercial or industrial settings.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or related fields.
• Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Experience in construction or building maintenance is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide team members or coordinate with external contractors.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to electrical work, HVAC/R systems, and general maintenance practices.
