Maintenance Technician

Perform regular, scheduled maintenance on machinery and equipment used in the gown manufacturing process (e.g., sewing machines, stitching machines, cutting equipment, DG, compressor etc.).

Inspect and lubricate machinery to ensure optimal performance.

Replace worn-out parts proactively to prevent production delays.

Diagnose problems with machinery, electrical systems, and other equipment.

Carry out repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Work closely with production teams to ensure minimal downtime during machine repairs and maintenance.

Analyse trends in machine failures and recommend changes to equipment or processes to reduce incidents.

Familiarity with basic electrical systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Maintains inventories of equipment parts by checking stock and placing orders

ITI/Diploma in any field

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar maintenance role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Experience in a gown or textile manufacturing environment is a plus.
