Maintenance Technician

Experience: General experience in residential property management maintenance is required. Position requires weekend work and on-call duties. High school graduate or GED is preferred.

1. HVAC Certified and experienced.

2. Light carpentry skills

3. Basic knowledge of electric and plumbing

4. Ability to interact well with co-workers, supervisors, guests, vendors, contractors and the public in a professional and pleasant manner.

5. Good organizational skills.

6. Ability to work on- call 24/7 as scheduled; work weekends and after hours as necessary due to emergency or business need.

7. Ability to accurately perform basic mathematical functions.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems, including air conditioning units, heating systems, and refrigeration equipment
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and replacing filters, lubricating motors, and inspecting electrical connections
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to identify the root cause of issues
• Repair or replace defective components or parts using hand tools and power tools
• Test HVAC/R systems to ensure proper functionality and efficiency
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry regulations while performing maintenance and repair tasks
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed

Experience:

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in property maintenance or mechanic field
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of HVAC/R systems
• Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus
• Ability to weld and perform basic equipment repairs
• Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and find effective solutions
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for van driving duties

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
