Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and other mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair appliances, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
• Install new appliances and mechanical components following manufacturer specifications and safety protocols.
• Conduct troubleshooting to identify issues quickly and implement effective repair solutions to minimize downtime.
• Operate company vehicles responsibly for on-site repairs or equipment deliveries as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to lead maintenance projects, improve operational procedures, and enhance overall system reliability.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in mechanical systems repair and maintenance.
• Proficiency in appliance repair, installation, and service technician practices.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics for complex HVAC/R and refrigeration systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC system repair, air conditioning units, and refrigeration technology.
• Experience with kitchen equipment maintenance including ovens, dishwashers, and other commercial appliances.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Familiarity with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices to support ongoing facility needs.
• Leadership qualities that enable guidance of junior team members or apprentices when necessary.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
