ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to in a manner that assures equipment operating efficiency.
• Respond to down equipment:

o Diagnose problems.

o Repair and return to normal operating efficiency.

• Assist as needed with installing and moving equipment.
• Perform mechanical skills, including but not limited to, electrical, pneumatic, general plumbing, steam, hydraulic & HVAC troubleshooting for the repair of machines and equipment.
• Ability to utilize a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
• Detect faulty operations, defective materials and report those to proper supervision.
• Ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair forklifts and walkie riders.
• Ability to support facility maintenance functions with RTU maintenance, garage doors, plumbing and electrical needs.
• Comply with all safety regulations both OSHA mandated, and company required policies.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience

Skills/Requirements:

• Mechanically inclined
• Excellent listening skills, ability to operate in difficult scenarios and focus on the solution.
• Excellent Troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to quickly learn and understand.
• Proactive attitude and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be willing and able to use the following equipment: Hand jack, electric pallet jack, Forklift.
• Willingness to work occasional nights and weekends to support production goals.
• Be a team player
• Must have basic computer skills
• Job requires lifting (100 Pounds), bending, standing, walking, carrying, climbing, pulling, pushing, sitting.

Additional Qualifications (Preferred but not required)

o Certification/ or equivalent experience working with Commercial HVAC

o Certification/ or equivalent experience working on PLC’s.

o Experience working on manufacturing electrical systems.
