Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of our mechanical systems, appliances, and equipment across the resort. Your expertise will help create a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable environment for our guests and staff alike.

Duties

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems to ensure peak performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances such as refrigerators, dishwashers, ovens, and other kitchen appliances using schematics and technical manuals.
• Conduct HVAC & appliance technology repairs, including air conditioning units and heating systems, to maintain optimal climate control.
• Install new appliances and mechanical systems following manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used to support operational efficiency.
• Operate company vehicles responsibly for on-site service calls or equipment transportation when necessary.
• Lead renovation projects related to mechanical systems or facility upgrades as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, and mechanical systems repair.
• Knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC & appliance technology to diagnose issues accurately.
• Hands-on experience with refrigeration, kitchen equipment maintenance, appliance installation, and general equipment repair.
• Ability to operate company vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by construction experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical staff or guests.
• Leadership qualities that support team collaboration and problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with maintenance, repair operations (MRO), air conditioning systems, HVAC & appliance technology is preferred.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
