MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Completion of relevant technical-vocational course, preferably in Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, or a related field.

Training: Relevant training set maintenance, air-conditioning and refrigeration servicing, electrical troubleshooting, and general facility maintenance.

Experience: At least one (1) year of relevant work experience in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of generator sets, air-conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and other mechanical and electrical equipment.

Eligibility: TESDA National Certificate (NC II) in a relevant technical specialization is preferred.

SCOPE OF WORK:

PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE

• Regular inspection and preventive maintenance of generator sets, air-conditioning units, refrigeration systems, cold storage equipment, and other facility utilities.

EQUIPMENT REPAIR AND TROUBLESHOOTING

• Timely diagnosis and repair of defective mechanical, electrical, and technical equipment to minimize operational disruptions.

FACILITY AND UTILITY MAINTENANCE

• Proper maintenance of electrical systems, plumbing, water pumps, and other building facilities to ensure safe and efficient operations.

EQUIPMENT RELIABILITY AND SAFETY

• Ensuring that equipment and facilities remain operational, safe, and compliant with applicable maintenance and safety standards.

MAINTENANCE DOCUMENTATION

• Accurate and timely submission of maintenance reports, inspection records, repair logs, and recommendations for equipment servicing or replacement.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT

• Prompt response to technical concerns and assistance in the installation, testing, and servicing of equipment and facility systems.
